Upload your own videos to your website (no YouTube needed)

Upload your own videos to your website (no YouTube needed)

Release Notes May 25, 2026

You can now upload your own video files directly to your website, instead of only pasting a YouTube link. A video you upload plays right on your site, with no YouTube branding, no suggested-video overlays at the end, and no need for a YouTube account at all.

Your own videos, hosted on your website

Before this update, adding video to your website meant putting it on YouTube first and pasting the link. That was a real blocker for operators without a YouTube channel, and it meant every video carried YouTube’s branding and end-screen suggestions, sometimes for competing tours.

Now you upload the video file itself. It is hosted on the same fast content network that already serves your website’s images, and it plays smoothly on phones and desktops alike. You can still paste a YouTube link whenever you prefer, and any existing YouTube videos on your site keep working exactly as before.

No YouTube account needed: Upload straight from your computer. Each video file can be up to 1 GB.
Auto-play or click-to-play: Let a short clip play silently on a loop where the layout supports it, or show a play button that opens the video in a viewer.
Your own thumbnail: Choose the still image a visitor sees before the video plays.

The media picker on the Videos tab, showing an Upload new tile alongside previously uploaded video thumbnails, each with a play icon.

Put video where it sells your tours

An uploaded video can go in the places that matter most for booking decisions: a page banner or banner slide, a page’s content and gallery sections, a tour’s media gallery, and inside the Itinerary Builder. A short, silent auto-play banner sets the mood the moment a visitor lands. A longer click-to-play clip lets them hear a guide describe the experience.

Banners and slides: A video at the top of a page, including as one slide in a rotating banner on custom, tour, promotion, and collection pages.
Page sections and tour galleries: Mix video in with your photos in a page’s content sections or a tour’s gallery.

SCREENSHOT NEEDED: Storefront mobile screenshot of a tour page with a silent auto-play native video banner playing at the top, device-framed.

Managed in the Media Library, like your photos

Your uploaded videos live in the Media Library alongside your photos. From there you can rename a video, change its thumbnail, turn silent auto-play on or off, and see exactly where each video is used before you change or remove it.

Availability: Included on every plan, at no extra cost. On mobile, whether a video auto-plays depends on the visitor’s browser, since some mobile browsers block auto-play for both uploaded and YouTube videos.
