SMS notification templates
Vacation Labs Bookings Management system allows you to send SMS notifications to your customers whenever they book a tour with you. These SMSs follow a standard template and automatically pickup all the relevant information from the tour and the booking to be sent to your customers. There are 3 types of SMS notifications available at the moment:
- Booking confirmation SMS
- Pre-trip reminder SMS
- Payment link SMS
Booking confirmation SMS
A Booking Confirmation SMS is triggered when the status of booking is changed to CONFIRMED. The SMS can be triggered automatically if your tour is configured for Auto-Confirmation or manually from the Booking Details page. It contains the basic information of the purchase like Name of the tour, departure date, booking amount etc. The SMS follows a fixed template which can be modified on request at an additional cost. Pre-trip reminder SMS
A pre-trip SMS is used for sending a reminder of the upcoming departure to your customers. You can control when the reminder must be triggered at a trip level and configure it to be triggered manually or automatically.

Payment link SMS
A payment link SMS is triggered along with the payment link email when you request for payment from your customer against a booking. A request for payment can be triggered automatically depending upon the settings of your product or manually from the booking details page.

The SMSs are always sent to your customers via Vacation Labs and the SENDER id visible to them is VACLAB. You can have this SENDER ID customised to match with the name of your business at an additional cost.
